Marriage Coaching

"If a disease were to afflict the majority of a populace, spreading pain and dysfunction throughout all age groups, we would be frantically searching for reasons and solutions. Yet this particular scourge has become so endemic that it is virtually ignored. The scourge is divorce, an oddly negative topic in a nation that has the worse record of broken marriages in the entire world. Divorce is the ‘root problem’ in our country and is the cause of any number of other social ills.  George Gallup, Jr.

What is Marriage Coaching?

A healthy marriage relationship requires an investment of time, yet few people make their marriage a priority. Marriage coaching is a way to help couples, like you, divorce proof your marriage as you discover God's purpose for your marriage. The marriage is usually the primary focus of the coaching sessions; not necessarily the couple. Together you design a blueprint of priorities, shared visions, and goals with action steps to carry them out. I assist you in discovering how to coach your marriage by asking and answering questions of one another for the sole purpose of achieving your desired goals for the marriage.

“The purposes of a heart are deep waters, but those who have insight draw them out.” Proverbs 20:5

Couples’ coaching is an ideal tool for relationships wanting to discover the strengths of partnership in marriage. As your coach, I don’t give advice and I don't take sides; however, I can help you hear each other’s needs and focus on healthy communication. I will come alongside you in a purposeful manner, which enables you to see difficulties in a different light. I provide the needed support, encouragement, and accountability to assist you along the journey as you proactively take your marriage from where it is to where you believe God desires for it to be!

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up... A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Every couple has to make a choice to "put a stake in the ground" and start a new legacy with their family. One of the greatest gifts you can give to the next generation is faithfulness and fidelity in your marriage.

Using a faith-centered coach approach helps you to live out your shared plans for a joy-filled marriage while developing practical skills to keep your marriage relationship strong and going the distance together as long as you both shall live!

"You are an ancestor to someone yet to come. If you live your life knowing you are an ancestor, that will change the way you make your decisions, the way you live your life, the way you love your wife." ~Albert Mohler
